Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

ADOPTED!
Maybel won't hunt, but will love you

Maybel was left to a rancher in Texas when a friend died. She is about 10 months old, liver and white, current on shots and heartworm negative, spayed, and very sweet. She went to California to live with some people as a hunting companion, but will not hunt, so needs a pet home. She is shy, but warms up to people after she knows them. She really needs to live with another dog as well as people as she feels more comfortable with dogs than humans (but is getting better every day). She is good with children, and loves them. Maybel will jump on counters and steal food, but is housebroken. She is afraid of crates, but her foster home is working on crate training her. She gets carsick, too, if in a crate, but has gotten over her car sickness when not in a crate. Maybel will make a great couch and jogging companion. If you are interested in her, fill out an adoption application on our website and list her as the dog you are interested in.
