Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Bailey - Bright, Energetic, Excellent Agility Candidate!

Bailey is an 18 month, liver & white spayed female, who came into our care in November 1999, from a shelter in Massachusetts. Bailey was purchased from an unknown breeder as a puppy and was raised a house dog. She is on the small side, weighing approximately 40 lbs.

Bailey is timid at first, but warms up quickly and bond strongly. Bailey grew up around children (infants to teens) and does well with them. She is very social with other dogs and lives well with cats. She is impeccably housetrained and would do well in a yard with a 6 ft. fence (chain link or stockade). Bailey loves her crate and is most comfortable when able to access it whenever she needs a break from "everyday life". She is not a "barker".

Bailey has had basic obedience training, performing "sits" and "downs" on command. She does have the habit of pulling on the lead but responds well to leash corrections. She has never been introduced to birds but may well show an interest if given the opportunity.

If you'd like more information on Bailey, please contact me and I will be happy to help you learn more about her.
