Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Joe was shot, needs loving home

Joe was found full of buckshot on a ranch and taken to a shelter in MO. He was transported to a PRO foster home in Ohio after the buckshot was removed and he healed. Joe is a 1 year old liver and white male, heartworm negative, current on shots, and will be neutered when he gains a little weight (before placement). Joe is learning to be housebroken and crate trained, gets very excited when he sees a gun, and appears to have field training. He also was taken out on grouse and pointed several, and held his point well. Joe gets along with kids, other dogs, cats, and the house parrot, although the parrot gets pointed a lot! If you are interested in Joe, fill out one of our adoption applications and indicate Joe in the place for the dog you are interested in, and Carrie, our adoption coordinator, will be in touch shortly.
