Ginny's been Adopted
Ginny is a lemon and white female, approximately 18 - 24 months, located in Richmond, Virginia. Ginny can be seen at http://members.tripod.com/~henricohumane/dogadopt.html. She is current on her vaccinations, spayed, tested negative for heartworms and is on a heartworm preventative. She came in to the Henricho Humane Society in Richmond as a stray and has since been placed in one of their foster homes. She is of field stock and may have been a hunting dog. Her foster family describes her as sweet tempered and they say she gets along well with children, cats and other dogs. She didn't seem to know anything about living in a house when she was placed in her foster home, but she is housebroken. Her foster mom reports that she can jump a fence if she is inclined to.
From Ginny's foster mom: "Ginny loves attention. She also loves her chair and will occasionally share it with a cat or two! She is reserved in the home with short bursts of silly energy. She does NOT need a lot of exercise. Outdoors her sense of smell "kicks in" and "kicks out" her sense of hearing! She is off and running with her nose to the ground! Needs 6 ft. fence or invisible fencing. If you are "cold natured" - snuggle with a pointer!"
