Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Dan Didn't Know Where To Go

Dan is a liver and white male, approximately 2-years-old, who is currently living at the Leander Texas Animal Control. Animal Control found Dan in someone's backyard, looking like he didn't know where he belonged. The shelter took a shine to him and is trying desperately to find him a real home. Dan is already neutered and current an all his shots. He weighs about 40 lbs. and could use a little more. According to AC staff, Dan is good with other dogs and has been handled by many people with no signs of biting or other aggressive behaviors. He has already learned to come and walks well on a leash. He understands the command, "kennel," but needs a real home. Dan is afraid of brooms and hoses and may have been abused. Staff say he is still a very loving dog that wants to be near people.

If you'd like to give Dan a real place to belong, contact Betty Williams at the Leander Animal Control at (512) 259-0613 (through the Leander Police) or by email at pottypatrol@hotmail.com.
