Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Fluke - One Lucky Dog

Fluke is an 18 month old, liver and white, neutered male. He is current on all his vaccinations, heartworm negative and on a monthly heartworm preventative.

Fluke is currently being housed by a foster home associated with the Medina County, Ohio, SPCA, where he arrived after receiving a leg injury, which is now healing.

Fluke is described as a VERY INTENSE Pointer - he points everything from birds to squirrels to farm animals at his foster home. SPCA staff and Fluke's foster parents believe he has had some field training. While Fluke likes to spend his days outside in the yard, he is starting to become comfortable in the house. His foster mom says when he first enters the house, he sniffs everything and can't decide what to point first. He almost "twitches" from "input overload." Fluke likes his foster mom very much and even thinks he should be her lap dog! Fluke is crated, with no problems, whenever his foster mom is away from the house."

Although Fluke has not been evaluated with toddlers, shelter staff believe he would do well in a home with children over the age of 10..

If you would like more information about Fluke or are interested in adopting him, please contact Dr. Fran Terry at frandoc@ald.net.

This is a non-PointerRescue.Org, Inc., adoption. Therefore, all adoption policies currently in place with the Medina County SPCA are in effect.
