Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Gentle Gent Henry - Adopted!

Henry is currently being housed with a foster family associated with the Montgomery County SPCA in Maryland. According to shelter staff, Henry is a very gentleman-like Pointer. He is housebroken and crate trained (is very quiet in his crate).

Henry is a quiet dog and only barks when a stranger approaches the door or if he's left on his own for long periods of time. He is a "people-dog" and gets along with all who visit him, including children. Henry also likes other dogs. Although he has shown no interest in the neighbor's cats, he has not been "cat tested" in a home. However, Henry's foster family indicates he is a mellow boy who probably would ignore a cat in his home.

Henry is outgoing and friendly and has bonded well with his foster family. He shows no signs of destructive behavior the house.

Henry walks nicely on a leash but will need regular exercise to keep his current trim figure (right now he weighs 63 lbs). He is healthy and up to date on his vaccinations, and has made friends with all the staff at the vet's office

Please consider adding Henry to your family. You will be glad you did!
