Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

I'd love you.

Hi all, my name is Melody and I am a 1 year old female English Pointer. I no longer have to hunt as I was trained to do and my former owner never forwarded my American Field Certificate but I can assure you I am from good stock. Thankfully, I am being kept in a foster home. Life is much different than it used to be. No more sleeping out in the cold. No more being hungry and having my food taken by other kennel dogs. I have new friends here with whom I get along great with. They are a female German Sheppard/Lab mix and 2 other pointers, both a male and female. I love to play with them and snuggle up with my foster parents on the couch or in front of the fireplace. I have learned house manners and I try to be a good girl and go outside. I am getting much better at that but I still have the occasional accident. I am a tall girl and when I get a little weight on my thin bones I will probably weigh around 60 pounds or more. Life is finally settling down for me. I am comfortable with and no longer afraid of humans. My foster parents have lots of pictures of me and if you would like to see more contact them at sanderma99@yahoo.com. My foster parents love me very much and I love them but I want a permanent home, will someone please adopt me?
